Field of Dreams
On issues of sustainability, health, nutrition, food access, affordability and more, our food system is broken. Emerging technologies are being developed to address these issues, but more needs to be done.
As a part of the studio’s larger Monarca Corridor, Fields of Dreams frames a more connected and healthier life for locals and citizens of the larger corridor and beyond. With Iowa in the heartland of the agriculture industry and the growth of Des Moines, this is an unprecedented opportunity to provide the infrastructure and support systems to push the food industry to solve the problems of today and tomorrow.
Looking ahead, Fields of Dreams investigates what living with agriculture could look like and how that begins to redefine the way our cities function and grow. This new district will feed the next generation with healthy options of knowledge, awareness, presence and empathy.
